    Day 3

Rest day: Forget your bike to make other unmissable discoveries…

    We suggest:

    Morning: Explore Siena!
The city of Palio, scene of the mad horse race, is a labyrinth of pretty little roads which tumble over each other… really unmissable!

Lunch: In Siena which is full of little restaurants and beautiful terraces.

Afternoon: Relax in the thermal springs in Rapolano. The thermal springs are another of the riches of Tuscny: wallow in a pool, with a spectacular view over the hills, you’ll enjoy the soothing qualities of this warm underground spring, naturally rich in sulphur.

    Day 4

Morning: The vineyards and the woods around Radda in Chiannti, are another highly esteemed place of production of Chianti Classico, a foray into the countryside towards Val d’Arno and yes, you can see Florence at the end of the valley. It’ll be a sporty morning!

Lunch: Volpaia is a fortified village, an isolated jewel which houses the restaurant Bar-Ucci which is run by Paola, a fantastic owner who knows how to welcome you. Her cooking is legendary : Goats chesses, Tuscan ham and pici (Siena pasta) in a stew have made her reputation.

Afternoon: Return to Gaiole in Chianti, if you fancy it we can take you on a rather fun way back, but the choice is yours if you prefer to take a smoother way back feel free.

    Day 5

Morning: We’ll take a path that takes us over a chain of hill crests which separate Chianti from Val d’Arno and return via the forest and olive groves which lead towards the village of San Gusmè which, under the protection of its steep walls, opposes Siena.

Lunch: With Sira and Remino, in the medieval village of San Gusmè, on an old paved terrace under the shelter of a Glycine climbing vine.

Afternoon: Private visit to the wine cellars of the castle of Castagnoli, one of the most highly reputed producers of Chianti. And evidently you get to taste the wine too!
